Sabbaba is a Hebrew word that has no real English equivalent, but if you were (absolutely) pressed to come up with one it would have to be “It’s all good.” And that’s pretty much how we sum up the Middle Eastern street food from this iconic Bondi establishment.

They bake their own bread every hour and the salads are as vibrant and colourful as the parts of the world they hail from. Falafel balls, beef shish, lamb kofta or crumbed fish come in a pita, bowl, or plate, festooned with fresh salads such as tabbouli, pickles, village salad, red cabbage, babaganoush, hummus and tahini… It’s all good.
